An 18-year-old Centralia man was injured in a single pickup truck crash on the Selmaville Road near Page Road southwest of Salem late Tuesday night.
Initial information from the Marion County Sheriff’s Department indicates 18-year-old Peyton Barnhart of Nursery Road left the road for an unknown reason.
Salem Fire Protection District Assistant Chief Bill Fulton says the truck just missed a large tree but hit a smaller tree nearly head on.
Barnhart was taken by United Medical Response to SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital for treatment of injuries.
The crash occurred at 10:27 Tuesday evening.
