Salem Police arrested a 41-year-old Salem man for misdemeanor theft, criminal damage to property and possession of under five grams of methamphetamine.   Patrick Nix of North Miller reportedly was seen on video taking copper from outside Sterling Avenue at 300 West Main Street.  He was stopped by police when he was seen walking later Tuesday night near Washington and Locust.   The methamphetamine charge was added after Nix allegedly threw down a small package that contained what field tested as methamphetamine.  He was released on a notice to appear in court.

Salem Police arrested 35-year-old Nashville man, Brandon Collins, for retail theft at the Salem Walmart Store.   He was also released on a notice to appear in court.

Sandoval Police arrested 35-year-old Tyler Foster of East Mississippi in Sandoval for alleged domestic battery and aggravated assault.  He was held in the Marion County Jail pending a first appearance in court.

Sandoval Police arrested 49-year-old Jason Yarbrough of North Vine in Sandoval for attempting to elude police, driving on a suspended license, no insurance, reckless driving and no vehicle registration.   He was taken to the Marion County Jail and was later released on a notice to appear in court.
