The National Weather Service has upgraded the chance of severe weather for late this afternoon and evening in South Central Illinois from enhanced (3 out of five on severe weather scale) to moderate (four out of five on the severe weather scale).
Please make sure you have a place of safety in the event of severe weather and have multiple sources to monitor severe storm activity.
