A 32-year-old Centralia man has been sentenced to six years in the Illinois Department of Corrections after his drug court probation was revoked.

Spencer Loyd of Clinmar Street had pleaded guilty to possession of five to 15 grams of methamphetamine in September 2025, burglary to a building in the 300 block of South Cherry in Centralia and unlawful possession of a motorcycle knowing it was stolen or converted.  He was arrested on both of those charges on November 4th of last year.

Loyd faces an extended term sentence due to a prior Jefferson County felony conviction.

Loyd will have to complete one year of mandatory release when getting out of prison and given credit for 118 days already served in the Marion County Jail.
