A 28-year-old Iuka man has been sentenced to 30 months’ probation as well as 30 days in the Marion County Jail after earlier pleading guilty to violation of the sex offender registry.
Jacob Mann of Middleton Street had earlier pleaded guilty in Marion County Court to the charge, in exchange for the dismissal of two other counts.
As part of the sentence, Mann was also ordered to undergo drug evaluation and treatment, undergo a mental health evaluation, and ordered to not use controlled substances or alcohol. He was fined $500 and ordered to pay a $750 probation fee.
