Bradley Gibson, 54, of Centralia, formally of Salem, passed away on March 13th, 2026, at Good Samaritan Hospital with his family by his side. He was born on July 23rd, 1971, to Harry and Donna (Squibb) Gibson in Salem.
Brad was of the Apostolic faith. He enjoyed watching movies and going to yard sales. He had a great sense of humor. His favorite time of year was Christmas. He loved to decorate his yard and house with as many lights as he could for the holiday season. He loved animals, owning about every breed of dog that you could imagine. One unknown fact about Brad is that he enjoyed learning about history. He was a caring, giving, and helpful man. He was a good father and loved to spend time with his family.
He is survived by his sons: Trey Gibson and Zachary (Melanie) Newcomer; brothers: Paul Bragg and Kevin Bragg; sister: Leslie Wood; nephew: Brynnon Wood; niece: Emma Wood; and ex-wife and good friend: Patricia Beasley.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Harry and Donna Gibson
Cremation rites will be accorded, per family wishes. A memorial service will be held on Thursday March 26th, 2026, at 5:00 pm in the Sutherland-Rankin Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Calvin Jean officiating. A time of visitation will be held from 3:00pm till the time of service. A private family burial will take place on a future date.
