A 34-year-old Salem man has been arrested for home invasion with injuries following a Tuesday afternoon incident in Salem where he allegedly entered another man’s house before shoving and slapping him.
Salem Police say Kendrick Wesley of West Whitaker knew the victim, but they are uncertain why Wesley broke into an outbuilding where the victim was staying in the 400 block of South Franklin.
The alleged victim walked to the Casey’s Store where he reported the incident and was taken to Salem Township Hospital for treatment.
Wesley was found walking in the area of the incident a short time later and was taken into custody without incident.
Wesley was taken to the Marion County Jail to await further court action.
