Thomas Timothy Lasley, 64, of Centralia, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 1, 2026, at Helia Healthcare of Salem. He was born on September 6, 1961, in Springfield, the beloved son of Owen and Wilma (Killion) Lasley. On October 18, 1986, he married the love of his life, Charlotte Burton, in Springfield. Their years together were filled with love and devotion until her passing on September 26, 2021 — a loss he carried deeply in his heart.

Thomas leaves behind a family who will forever cherish his memory: his brothers, Owen Fontaine Lasley (Rebecca) of Sandoval and Carlos Taylor (Samantha) of Los Angeles; stepchildren, Vincent Williams, Lee Madison Jr., Maurice Williams, and Monique Williams;  grandchildren, Jennifer Williams and Amber Reddy; great-grandchildren, Malia, Carter, and Cristen. He is also lovingly remembered by his nieces and nephews, Taine, Mauri, Kia, Rico, and Kiana, along with a host of great-nieces, great-nephews, extended family, and friends.

In addition to his beloved wife, Thomas was preceded in death by his parents; his siblings, Johnathan Lasley, Marean Lasley, and Inda Blakely; his nephews, Lonnell Martin, Lontreal Martin, and Sean Lasley; and many cherished aunts and uncles.

Throughout his life, Thomas wore many hats, working as a chef, providing security for federal buildings, and caring for the elderly. Above all, he was a devoted family man. Affectionately known as “Uncle Tim” to his nieces and nephews and as “Pops,” “PaPa,” and “Pee Paw” to his grandchildren — titles he wore with great pride — he cherished every moment spent with them. His love was steady, protective, and unconditional.

He found great joy in cooking, music, and WWE wrestling — passions he gladly shared with family and friends. He often prepared home-cooked meals as a true labor of love, and on Monday nights you could find him cheering loudly at the TV during wrestling, Thomas never met a stranger. His warm smile, hearty laugh, and open arms made everyone feel welcomed and at ease. Whether at a family gathering or among friends, he brought light, laughter, and unforgettable stories that filled the room. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, March 13, 2026, at Irvin Macz Funeral Home in Centralia, with Rev. Ronald Johnson officiating. Visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the service. A private family interment will take place at Elmwood Cemetery in Centralia.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to their dear cousin Ashley Fowler for her unwavering support during this difficult time.
