Treva J. McDowell, age 86 of Kinmundy, passed away at her home on Wednesday, January 28, 2026.
Treva was born on June 20, 1939, in Romine Township, the daughter of Melvin and Hattie (Stanford) Tinkler.
Survivors include her daughters, Yvonne White, Melva Gillenwater, and Debra Webb; grandchildren, Jacob White and wife Carrie, Jon White, Jared White, Jenny Bray and husband Chris, Kasey Swift and husband Mike, Heather Brown and husband Richard, Ilyssia Gillenwater, and Calvin Webb; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, Charles Anspach, John Cox, and David McDowell; sisters, Ruth and Sue; brother, Forrest; and an infant sister.
Treva was a member of the Salem Lutheran Church. She had retired from World Color Press after a dedicated career. She enjoyed sewing and quilting.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, at Crouse Funeral Home in Salem with Pastor Mike Feldmann officiating. A time of visitation will be held from Noon until the time of the service. Private interment will be in Paradise Cemetery.
