She married Willard McIntire in Chicago in 1947, and he preceded her in death in 1982. She married Blaine Pinkston on October 7, 1997, in Paducah, KY, and he preceded her in death on June 27, 2020.

Along with her first husband, Willard McIntire, and her husband, Blaine Pinkston, Adeline was preceded in death by her parents, Martin and Katherine Pydo; sisters, Rose, Stella, and Pauline; brothers, Ted, Frank, John, and Walter; and her son, Martin McIntire.
Adeline knew the value of hard work and organization in her career as a township tax assessor for Fremont Township in Illinois. She was always to be found friendly, trustworthy, and so helpful while working as a realtor. A job she enjoyed thoroughly until her retirement. Raising her children in the Northern suburbs of Chicago, Adeline was an attentive and nurturing mother, who raised her children to know they could accomplish anything they set their minds to. In 1976, retirement led her to the town of Patoka, where she and her husband, Willard appreciated the welcoming folks of the community. Adeline was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Sandoval. She liked to take her turn on the dance floor where she met her dance partner, Blaine, who would become her second husband, while dancing the polka. Her hobbies included reading, solving the puzzles on Wheel of Fortune, gardening, and sharing conversations with friends on the phone. Adeline was capable and independent, proud that she was still driving herself at the age of 100. She held herself with poise and grace, always dressed well, and was careful with all the little details. Adeline was an amazing wife, mother, grandma, sister, aunt, and friend, who will be deeply missed by all those whose lives she impacted.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 12, 2026, at the Patoka City Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest beside her husband, Willard. Memorials may be made in Adeline’s honor to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
