The installation of the large US flag from the ceiling of the Sandoval Junior-Senior High School Gym has been completed. It will be lowered down for various events in the gym, including the start of basketball games.
The Sandoval Board was told all but punch list items have been completed on complete renovation of the two bathrooms in the north gym lobby. However, the bathrooms will not open until basketball season.
The board voted to contract with Illinois Approved Learning Partner Silver Strong and Associates for work with both the grade school and junior/senior high school curriculum.
A new walk-in freezer will be purchased to replace one that stopped working over the summer.
After closed session, Aaron Purcell was named junior high boys baseball assistant coach and Annie Slover was named a volunteer junior high girls softball coach.
