The Teutopolis Wooden Shoes claimed 3rd place of the SIT with a thrilling 54-51 overtime win over Champaign Central. Mick Niebrugge grabbed a rebound off his own miss and put it back up and in with a foul with 13 seconds left in overtime to give the Shoes the lead. He would make the free throw and TTown’s defense would hold off the Maroons for the win. Drew Hoene led TTown with 18 and Kremer finished with 12. TTown improves to 15-6 for the season and will host Mt Zion on Tuesday night.
