Chris Janson‘s patriotism takes center stage in his new song, “The Flag.”

The “Buy Me a Boat” singer recently hopped on social media to tease a snippet of the unreleased track.

In the opening verse, Chris sings, “It stood proud on the Bulge/ Flew across the Delaware/ It’s earned every scar and still flying everywhere/ It’s been kicked and it’s been cussed/ It’s been burned out in the street/ But it never would give up/ ‘Cause no it just can’t be beat.”

“It stands for what’s right/ It stands for the free/ It stands for every small-town kid who ever had a dream/ All the ones who left their homes and never made it back/ That’s why I stand for this flag,” he continues in the chorus.

While you wait for “The Flag” to roll out, you can check out the 55-second preview clip on Chris’ social platform X now. You can also listen to Chris’ latest single, “Whatcha See Is Whatcha Get,” on your favorite country station and digital platforms.
