Some flooded low lying roads are once again passable Monday morning.

Salem Township Road Commissioner Jim Bryant reports the South College Street Extension is reopened, but South Hotze, South Hoots Chapel, and Westline Road are still impassable in the Crooked Creek Bottoms.

The Patoka Township Road Commissioner Earl Shipley reports the roads in the North Fork and Flat Creek Bottoms are once again passable after floodwaters receded.

The Salem Water Plant recorded 1.25-inches of rain for the 24 hour period ending at seven Sunday morning.  The Centralia Water Plant had 1.23-inches of rain.  There was 1.4-inches of rain recorded in Vernon.

The Salem Reservoir was 7.5 inches over the spillway at 7 Sunday morning, not enough to cause concern downstream along Town Creek.

Centralia Water Plant officials say one gate of Raccoon Lake is almost fully open, but it is not expected to cause any serious flooding problems.
