TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (AP) — The SIU Salukis honored late coach Rich Herrin at last night’s game with his initials sewn onto their uniform tops and will for the rest of the season. Coach Herrin had 225 win sand 3 NCAA Tournament appearances as well as 4 NIT trips who passed away on Christmas night. The Salukis fell to Indiana State 69-66 playing without Markus Domask. Lance Jones led the Dawgs with a season-high 25 points.
