The Marion County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a church burglary.
The Harvey’s Point Christian Church on the County Farm Road was allegedly entered sometime before late Wednesday afternoon. A computer and karaoke machine were stolen. A safe was moved but not entered. Several offices were also gone through with $2 removed from an offering plate.
Church officials say the church had not been locked, so there was no forced entry.
