The entertainment has been announced for the 35th annual Balloon Fest to be held this August in Foundation Park in Centralia.
‘Taylor Made a Tribute to Taylor Swift’ will be headlining the Friday evening entertainment. Country Music artist Kaylee Rose will be performing on Saturday afternoon. ‘American Idol’ alum, Josh Gracin, will headline on Saturday night.
This year’s chair Rob Jackson also unveiled this year’s poster design and license plate. He also announced the activation of the Balloon Fest’s online store through Winning Edge, featuring a variety of Balloon Fest branded shirts, hoodies, polos, and hats. Items can be ordered at centraliaballoonfest-dot-itemorder-dot-com.
The committee also learned at its kickoff meeting last week that 64 out of 100 craft vendors, 14 out of 20 food vendors, 27 out of 35 pilots, and three special shapes are already planning to attend.
Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Marcus Holland says Placer.AI estimated 43,000 people were in Foundation Park during the 2023 Balloon Fest. He says they are adding to the event like never before.
The next steps for the Centralia Chamber of Commerce is to finalize sponsorships, contracts for services, and solidify all participating vendors and hot air balloon pilots.
Holland says they are ahead of schedule for March, but still have a lot of work to do before the event.
