One person was flown from the scene of a two-vehicle crash at the Green Street and Odin Road late Thursday afternoon.
Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies say the crash occurred when 55-year-old Douglas Johnson of Marcel Drive in Centralia was driving southbound on the Odin Road and proceeded through the stop sign at the Green Street Road and collided with an eastbound SUV on Green Street Road driven by 35-year-old Gregory Markus of Green Street Road in Centralia.
Johnson was airlifted from the scene of the crash to a St. Louis hospital for treatment. Markus was treated on the scene by Lifestar Ambulance but did not require hospital treatment.
The Centralia Fire Protection District was also called to the scene to assist.
The crash occurred at 5:14 Thursday afternoon.
