A 32-year-old Centralia man has been arrested by Centralia Police for violation of bail bond and theft. Nathan Page of South Maple was taken to the Marion County Jail to await a decision on final charges by the State’s Attorney’s office.
The Marion County Sheriff’s Department was notified of a burglary to a home in the 200 block of North Jefferson in Kinmundy on Saturday morning. The resident discovered her screen pushed open on her kitchen window which apparently allowed someone to reach inside and take a jar of change. Nothing else was reported disturbed.
The sheriff’s department is also investigating a burglary to a shed in the 3900 block of Duis Road in rural Iuka. A dirt bike, a couple of deer stands and odds and ends were reported stolen. The incident was reported Saturday afternoon.
