A good crowd and 75 cars made the Marion County Agriculture Fair’s 2nd annual Fall Brawl a success on Saturday night.
In the minivan class, Paul Reid Jr. from Laclede Got 1st, Chris See from Alma got second and Travis Stevens out of McLeansboro got 3rd and best of show.
In the limited weld class, Michael Voss from Carlyle took home 1st while Cody Kluemke from Bartelso got second and Troy Enman from Carlyle brought in 3rd while Trevor Bowen from Farina was awarded the best of show.
For the modified full-size car class Fernando Haro out of Grayville took first place and best of show while Devan Vandeveer of Salem got second and Michael Koons of Rotonda West was 3rd.
As for the the gut-n-go compact class, Jimmy Shoemaker of Salem was first while Josh Patten of Centralia got second and Dennis Debatin of Pocohantas placed third. The Best of Show in that class went to Austin Weischedel of Vandalia.
In the Compact class first place went to Jeremy Patten of Walnut Hill with Braeden Pursell of Duquoin second and Justin Patten of Junction City 3rd and best of show.
In the final class of the night, Remington Stevens of McLeansboro won the 80s and newer class while also taking home the best of show. Levi Dodson of Texaco was second and Brandon Dodson of Texico got 3rd.
The organizers would like to thank everyone for coming out Saturday night. The weather was perfect and Demo Announcer Josh Tate felt all the drivers put on one heck of a show.
The fair board would also like to thank our sponsors for last evening’s event.
