The Marion County Board has tabled the reappointment of five members to the Marion County Health Board whose terms expire on November 30th.
Board member Brock Waggoner first asked for the issue to be tabled because he felt the health department had made some mistakes during COVID-19. Board member Jack Riley later added he had similar concerns. Both Waggoner and Riley wanted to meet the nominees and ask questions before taking action. No date was set for the appearance before the county board.
The five members up for reappointment to new three-year terms are Dr. Elizabeth Franczyk, Kendra Taylor, Dr. Kyle Clark DDS, Michael Morton, and Dr. Seth Hahs.
