The Salem Grade School Board has filled seven openings as they prepare for the start of the school year.
Two teachers were hired. Ricky Huge to teach 8th grade math and Katie Meador Steffen to teach seventh grade math.
Josye Jansen has been hired as the district’s social worker.
Three paraprofessionals were employed. They are Amanda Petrea, Katherine Lewis and Shandi Schaubert.
The board also hired Leslie Tate Holmes as fulltime cook.
