A 40-year-old rural Centralia man has been arrested on multiple charges after his pickup truck allegedly jumped the railroad crossing on 16th Street in Centralia on Sunday night.

Centralia Police ticketed Jared Kahrhoff of Shattuc Road for driving under the influence of alcohol, driving on a revoked license, improper lane usage, leaving the scene of an accident and illegal consumption of liquor.

Police say while allegedly jumping the train tracks he damaged a crossing gate and blew some of his tires.   He continued on 16th Street to Wabash where he turned north into an oil field where police located him changing a tire.

Kahrhoff was taken to the Marion County Jail to await a decision on formal charges.
