The Christ Our Rock Stallions improved to 20-0 as they won the program’s first ever Midland Trail Conference Tournament title beating Cisne 68-33. The 5th ranked Stallions were led by tournament MVP Parker Boehne as well as teammates Ryan Wuebbels and Myles Pryor each named All Tournament. Webber Township beat Waltonville in the 3rd place game 56-46, Wayne City won the consolation bracket over Grayville 69-55 and earlier last week Patoka/Odin beat Sandoval in the 9th place game 56-51.
LIC: The Little Illini Conference opened up this weekend. Richland County beat Marshall 63-31, Lawrenceville over Robinson 58-36, Casey beat Paris 48-35 and Newton nipped Mt Carmel 57-55. The tournament continues tonight with the consolation semifinals. Marshall will take on Robinson followed by Paris and Mt Carmel.
