NIT: The Nashville Hornets delivered in front of their home crowd winning their own invitational knocking off 4th ranked Breese Central 44-38. Mascoutah beat Breese Mater Dei 64-47 for 3rd place, Marion won the consolation title over Kipp Academy 49-17 and Metro East Lutheran beat Brentwood 45-40.
BIT: Benton lost to Pinckneyville in the championship game on Saturday night 51-46 to finish the round robin tournament with one loss. The Panthers were undefeated with a win over Vandalia earlier in the day 64-46.
Okawville: Columbia knocked off Wesclin in the championship of the Okawville Tournament 59-48. Gibault beat Marquette in the 3rd place game 60-50. Highland was the consolation champs beating Okawville 48-36. Carlyle edged Roxana for 7th place 46-40.
Sparta: Freeburg won the Sparta Mid-Winter Classic beating Steeleville in the finals 66-45. Sparta in overtime beat Red Bud 63-58 for 3rd place. Lovejoy over Waterloo in the 5th place game 69-45 and Murphysboro beat Trico in the 7th place game 43-35.
Superman: At the Superman Classic, Charleston, Missouri won the title over Massac County 70-55. Goreville lost to Vienna in the 3rd place game 61-50. Carterville nipped Graves County, Kentucky in the consolation final 55-54 and Fort Campbell, Kentucky won the 7th place game over Century 70-46.
Zeigler: Marion Agape Christian won the Zeigler Royalton Tournament beating the Appleknockers of Cobden in the finals 54-48. Zeigler won the 3rd place game over Elverado 72-60, Shawnee 51-34 over Egyptian in the 5th place game, Joppa beat Dongola 68-47 in the 7th place game.
Litchfield: Triad won the title at Litchfield beating Civic Memorial in the finals 58-40, Greenville 81-69 over Taylorville for 3rd, Nokomis beat Mattoon in the 5th place game 56-38, Hillsboro over Marquette JV in the 7th place game 69-41, Pana won the 9th place game over McGivney 61-50 and Litchfield won the 11th place game over Ramsey 68-44.
