The KC men and women dropped their games on the road at Vincennes University on Saturday. The women fell 75-69. In the loss, Staisha Hamilton finished with 25, Taylor Austin added 20 and Courtney Lumpkins 10. The Angels fall to 11-9 overall, 4-3 in the GRAC and 4-5 in the Region. They will host John A Logan on Wednesday.
The Blue Devils dropped their game with the 8th ranked team in the country 84-61. Emanuel Prospere led KC with 14, Caleb Jenkins added 11 and Jhei-R Jones finished with 10. Tasos Cook had 26 in the win for VU. KC is 14-7 overall, 4-6 in the Region and 4-4 in the GRAC as they also host 6th ranked John A Logan Wednesday.
Also around the region in men’s basketball Logan beat Wabash Valley 82-66, SWIC 83-72 over Lake Land, Shawnee beat Lewis & Clark 71-57 and Lincoln Trail over Rend Lake 71-62.
