If you need health insurance, Sunday is the deadline for choosing a plan through the A-C-A Marketplace.
More than 330,000 Illinoisans have selected coverage from the Marketplace since enrollment began November 11th. Get Covered Illinois Executive Director Laura Pellikan says there are hundreds of options to consider at reasonable prices.
“Rates are pretty comparable to last year. I think it really depends on exactly where you live. I can’t promise they are lower in every area of the state, but overall there is a modest increase.”
Pellikan says you can check out your options online.
So even if they have a plan this year on the ACA Marketplace, it is always a good idea to go back because plans and prices change.”
