The Salem 4th grade opened up their own Salem Tournament last night with a close 23-21 win over Raccoon. Despite being down 2 starters with the flu and trailing 12-3 early, Salem came back to advance to the semifinals. Maxsen Tiemann lead the way in scoring with 8 points. Grayson Purintun had 6, Nolan Krutsinger 4, Lewis Eddy 2, Amina Elkshiry 2, and Dagan Duncan 1. Tiemann and Krutsinger each had 6 rebounds to tie for the team lead. The tournament continues today with the Bobcats playing Vandalia at 3:00.
