The Wildcat Wrestlers came away with their first team win yesterday as they traveled to Centralia for a Tri-Match with Centralia. Salem beat Carlyle 64-12 and fell to the Orphans 48-30.
Winning for Salem were Frank Podergois who had 2 pins on the night. Cooper Lobek earned 2 wins. Also winning for Salem were Lyric Black, Killian Merrill, Kannon King and Alex Tate.
Salem is back in action at West Frankfort on Tuesday against the hosts, Pinckneyville and Trico.
