Boys Junior High Basketball:
In middle school boys basketball, the Centralia Tigers picked up a huge win knocking off Casey Mt Vernon 44-37. Kenny Bratton led Centralia with 17, JaShawn Staples added 13 and Jaxcson Hancock 6. For Casey, David Barnes led the way with 19.
The SC Falcons pulled out a 40-27 win over Sigel St Michael to improve to 4-2 on the season. Luke Shumate led the way with 14, Westin Neilson finished with 11. The SC JV won 29-27 to improve to 6-2.
Raccoon was on fire as they defended their home court in beating Selmaville 61-13. Michael Organ led the Devils with 24 and Caden Lamb added 15. Wyatt McCarty led the Rockets with 5. Selmaville won the JV game 31-26. Jaxon Ward had 12. In the loss, John Organ had 15 and Drake Rector 11.
Junior High Girls Basketball:
The Franklin Park Lady Bobcats climbed back to .500 on the season after a 28-27 win at Olney. Mya Russell finished with 16. The JV Lady Cats fell 26-7. Salem is back in action Monday when they host Casey Mt Vernon.
The North Clay Lady Indians beat Sandoval 34-7. Leigha Ruesken had 19, Brehea Russell 6. The JV also won 19-4.
Selmaville knocked off Odin 49-16. Allie Hustedde had 20 and Alana Finney 9. The Lady Rockets also won the JV game 32-15
