Selmaville Earns Win Over Summersville At RLC Shootout
The Selmaville Rockets competed Saturday at the Rend Lake College Shootout and knocked off the Summersville Wildcats 38-35. Wyatt McCarty led the Rockets with 19 and Riley Tate added 7. Selmaville will play at Willow Grove tonight.
Indian Eagles 5-1 After Shootout Win
North Wamac/Irvington won their Rend Lake College Shootout game 48-27 over Ewing to improve to 5-1 on the season. Azlynn Witthaus-Strait scored 17 for the Indian Eagles. Cooper Teaff finished with 13 and Trey Bodine and Dameon Wooden 7 each. North Wamac will play this week in the Centralia St Mary’s Tournament.
Rome Tournament Begins Tonight
Tonight is the opening round of the Rome Boys Tournament. At 5pm tonight it’s Opdyke-Belle Rive taking on Patoka with the winner playing top-seed Woodlawn on Wednesday. The final game tonight is Field and Wayne City at 6:15.
