This is the final day to make entry into next Saturday’s Little Egypt Festival Parade.
Parade entry forms are available at the front desk of WJBD Radio at 310 West McMackin Street in Salem, at Salem City Hall, and at the courthouse security desk at the east entrance to the Marion County Courthouse.
There is a $25 entry fee for businesses and a $50 entry fee for political parties that have been added this year to help cover rising insurance requirements and costs.
Those with an entry are required to attend a mandatory meeting at six Tuesday night at the Bryan Bennett Library in Salem. Each entry must have a representative present to be allowed in the parade.
The parade caps next Saturday’s Little Egypt Festival. It will begin at two pm and take its normal route down North Broadway from Bryan Memorial Park and turning west onto Main Street downtown.
