Bobcats Beat Centralia, Selmaville Wins On 8th Grade Day, Raccoon/Kell Falls — Jr High Baseball

Bobcats Solid In Win At Centralia

Franklin Park routed the Centralia Tigers on the road 5-1 in five innings.  Avery Gullion was the winning pitcher as he did not give up a hit or run in 3 innings of work.  At the plate, Kyler King went 2-3 with a triple and drove in 4 runs.  Scout Puricelli and Max Vincent drove in 2 each with RBI also from Keytin Grawe, Payton Gullion and Avery Gullion.  Landen Maxey went 3-4 with a triple, RBI and 2 runs scored.  Salem is 17-5 as they close down the regular season Saturday at Nashville before regionals next week.

Selmaville Wins On 8th Grade Day

Selmaville honored their 8th graders and then beat Iuka 13-2.  Logan Butts, Zane Dodson and Wyatt McCarty each doubled twice.  Butts drove in 4, Nicholi Marhanka drove in 3 with 2 RBI from Dodson and Tripp Garden.  Jaxon Ward and Riley Tate added RBI.  Kai Graham was the winning pitcher going 4 innings allowing 3 hits and 1 earned run.  Butts threw the final inning.

Raccoon/Kell Falls To Field

Raccoon/Kell lost a late lead to fall to Field 7-2.  Michael Organ struck out 6 in the los, Drake Rector threw 2 innings as well.  John Organ, Walker Sherwin, Michael Organ and Rector all had hits.  Alton Davis and Damien Weems had big plays in the outfield.
