Franklin Park & Selmaville Show Well At Lee Evans

The Franklin Park Cross Country boys varsity won the Lee Evans Invitational.  Alex Spencer won the 127 person race in a time of 10:26.  Payton Gullion finished 6^th overall in 10:51, Scout Puricelli was 8^th in 10:56 and Avery Gullion 12^th in 11:03.  Kendall Zimmerman was 2^nd in the girls varsity race in a time of 11:50 out of 109 runners.

The Selmaville JV won the girls race.  The top 30 medaled as the Lady Rockets JV got medals from Karmen Murray 9^th, Gabby Harper 11^th, Kenna Benjamin 17, Alana Howe 20, Gia Ward 21 and Gabby Gaston 24.  There were 116 runners in the JV girls’ race with 27 teams represented.  Rafe James was 10^th in the JV boys race.  2 varsity girls earned medals in the race with 104 runners.  Carly Veach was 16^th and Shelby Johnson 17^th respectively.  In the Open Race, Kamora Whitfield was 4^th, Josie Thorsen 7^th, Kailey Meredith 9^th and Kayla May 13^th.
