SC Wins 8 Straight With Victory Over OPS
Anthony Buonaura went 2-5 with a double, triple and 5 RBI in South Central’s 11-2 win over visiting Odin/Patoka/Sandoval. Ethan Watwood doubled twice and drove in 2 along with Colton Smith, Brody Markley went 3-3 with an RBI. Chase Thompson scored 4 times at the top of the order and Aidan Dodson had a hit, RBI and run. The Cougars are back in action today at home with Beecher City.
North Clay Bounces Back With Win
North Clay knocked off Wayne City 6-1. Carder Walden and Daniel Warren doubled for the Cardinals. Ayden Joones drove in 2 runs with Copdy Zimdars and Alex Boose also with RBI. Warren scored a run, Walden scored twice with Jesse Weidner adding 2 hits. Ian Jones was the winning pitcher going 5 innings allowing 1 hit and no runs with 8 strikeouts.
