Lady Bobcats Rout Breese, Will Host Wesclin Today
The Salem Lady Bobcats earned a 15-4 win at Breese. Quinn Wolfe was great on the mound striking out 9, she also scored 4 runs. Emma Lipe was 2-5 with 3 RBI, Brylee Pennypacker drove in 2. Reagan Shuler, Mya Russell and Morgan Honerkamp added RBI. The Lady Bobcats return to play today at home against Wesclin.
Rome Stays Undefeated With Win Over Selmaville
Rome’s Taylor DeSmith tossed a no-hitter as they moved to 13-0 with a 7-0 win over Selmaville. DeSmith also led Rome at the plate with a triple and Isabella Decker added a double. For the Lady Rockets, who fell to 9-6, got a great effort from Keira Meredith in the circle who allowed just 2 hits and struckout 11 but 3 errors and 9 walks came back to hurt Selmaville. Meredith has 143 strikeouts for the year and just 5 shy of Delaney Kell’s mark of 148 which is the single season record for Selmaville. She could get it today as Selmaville will host Odin.
Trinity/St Mary Falls To Okawville
Trinity/St Mary fell to 8-2 on the year with a 13-1 loss to Okawville. Emrie Quick struck out 7 in 5 innings for the loss. At the plate, she went 2-2 with a double and run scored. Bailey Pingsterhaus added an RBI.
