The PBA Jr Lakeside Midwest Regional Open was held Saturday and Sunday at Bowlero Lakeside in Valley Park, Missouri. Salem senior Charlie Hunter is the 18u champion. The 17-year old from Iuka was solid all weekend in bringing home the title after 15 games over 2 days on a tough pattern.
Also congratulations to Rhett Runge who placed 6th earning scholarship money and Silas Moats also competed but didn’t advance to the finals. So Moats then competed at Hi-Top Bowl and was 2nd place scratch and 3rd place match play.
The future looks real bright for the Wildcats prep bowling team heading into this 2022-23 season.
