Lady Bobcats Earn Thrilling 8-Inning Walk Off Win Over TTown

The Salem Lady Bobcats earned a thrilling 8-inning walk-off win over visiting Teutopolis 6-5.  Reagan Shuler went all 8 innings striking out 7.  Mya Russell had 3 hits and scored 3 times, Quinn Wolfe drove in 3 runs, Lily Holsapple scored the game tying run in the 6th and Emma Lipe scored on a passed ball to win it.


Lady Rockets Use Extra Base Hit As Key In OBC Win

Selmaville improved to 9-5 and 4-0 in the Oil Belt Conference after 16-1 win over Iuka.  6 of Selmaville’s 16 hits were extra base hits.  Keira Meredith was 3-3 with a home run and a triple with 3 RBI.  Allie Hustedde was 3-4.  Shelby Johnson, Kaolin Lewis and Alan Finney had 2 hits each.  Meredith was the winning pitcher going 5 innings and striking out 9.  Selmaville will travel to Rome on Wednesday.


SC Get’s Another No-Hit Win

SC no-hit CHBC on the road 17-0 in three innings.  Maddi Peddicord struck out 9 and walked just 2 in the win.  She added 2 singles, Aubrey Sullens drove in a run, Addy Ruholl had 3 hits including a double and drove in a run, Jerzie Webb added an RBI along with Jamalyn Logan, Kinley Swift, Kennah Hiestand and Cam Allen.  Brianna Buchanan drove in 2 runs with 2 hits, Baylee Brown added 3 RBI and Emmie Ruholl had the big day at 5 RBI.  SC is 14-5 and 6-2 in the JNTC .  The Lady Falcons of SC host Vandalia this afternoon at Deep Rock Energy Field.


Sandoval Earns Big Win Over Odin

Sandoval beat Odin 25-5 behind a strong pitching performance from Avery Moorehead.  She struck out 7 and also pounded out 2 hits at the plate along with Jenna Howell.  Hailey Roper added 3 hits.  Riley Whipple had a hit along with Brooklyn Hodge and Adilee Nolte.  Sandoval is 3-7 and will host Iuka on Tuesday while Odin hosts Woodlawn today.
