The Salem Lady Wildcats dropped their varsity volleyball opener at Teutopolis falling 21-25, 24-26. The freshman won in 3 sets 25-15, 26-28, 15-3. The JV won 25-9, 25-21. Salem will be back in action next Thursday at Columbia.
The SC Lady Cougars dropped their NTC matchup to St Anthony with the varsity losing 25-20, 13-25, 19-25. The JV fell in straight sets along with the Fresh/Soph. SC will play at Woodlawn on Monday.
Mascoutah beat Breese in a close won 16-25, 26-24, 27-25. Carlyle beat Altamont 25-22, 25-17 to improve to 2-0 with Emma Meyer adding 15 kills.
The Christ Our Rock Lady Stallions are in action at home against Red Hill.
