Christ Our Rock moved to 2-0 on the baseball season with a come from behind road win at South Central.  The game was tied at 1 until the bottom of the sixth when the Cougars Anthony Buonaura hit a 2-run homer to give SC a 3-1 lead in their season opener.  But the Stallions plated 4 runs in the seventh to pull off the win.  The Cougars defense let them down as just one of the 5 runs was earned.  Aidan Dodson got the start working 4 innings allowing 3 hits and an unearned run with 6 strikeouts.  Buonaura then worked the next 2 innings allowing no hits or runs.  Ethan Watwood came in to pitch the 7th and gave up 3 hits and 4 runs, just one earned to pick up the loss.  For Christ Our Rock, Jayden Bazile, Lendon Isaiah and Colton Oelze drove in runs.  Myles Pryor was the complete game winner for the Stallions allowing 4 hits and 4 runs with 8 strikeouts and only one walk.

North Clay opened their season with a 17-3 win over Odin/Patoka/Sandoval.  Ayden Jones went 2-2 with 5 RBI to lead the defending state champs.  Cody Zimdars drove in 3 with 2 more RBI from Logan Fleener.  Haines and Kee drove in the runs for OPS.
