The Franklin Park Bobcats improved to 4-1 on the season with a 10-3 home win over Carlyle.  Jaret Gibson doubled as part of his 2-hit day with 3 RBI and 2 runs scored, Landen Maxey drove in 2 runs with Evan Barnes and Silas Lux coming up with RBI as well.  Avery Gullion singled and scored 3 times, Keytin Grwae had 2 doubles and scored 2 runs, Payton Gullion doubled and Max Vincent added a run, Scout Puricelli had a hit.  Landon Tennyson was the winning pitcher going 4 innings allowing 4 hits and just 1 earned run.  Landen Maxey came in for the final 3 innings and allowed just 1 hit.  The Bobcats head to Marion today.

The Central City Citians claimed their 2nd straight Oil Belt Conference Tournament title on Monday at the Salem Little League Complex knocking off Selmaville 6-5.  It happened on the same night the Central City Lady Citians also claimed the Conference Tournament championship.  The Citians then beat Trinity St Mary’s last night 13-0.

Iuka fell to Jasper County 6-2.  Damon Jennings was the starting pitcher going 4 innings allowing 6 runs on 11 hits with 3 strikeouts.  Kaden Cripps threw the final 2 innings.  Cripps, Kurt Sullens and Trygg Aaron each had multiple hits for Iuka.

Selmaville dropped a hard fought 8-7 game to North Clay on the road in Louisville.  Zane Dodson and Nicholi Mahrenka had doubles with both driving in 2 runs.  Brendan Smith and Drew Consolino also added RBI.  Kai Graham singled, Wyatt McCarty singled and scored along with Logan Butts, Riley Tate scored twice and Jaxon Ward added a hit.
