The Franklin Park Lady Bobcats picked up their 3rd win in a row with a 15-10 home win over Carlyle. Allison Thurman was the winning pitcher. Quinn Wolfe and Morgan Honerkamp threw in relief. Brylee Pennypacker had 3 RBI, Hadley Dillinger and Reagan Shuler were on base 4 times each. The Franklin Park JV will host Iuka this afternoon.
St Mary/Trinity Defenders opened their softball season with an 8-4 win over Central City. Emrie Quick struck out 19 in 7 innings of work allowing just 2 hits. Quick also had 2 hits and 2 runs. Bailey Pingsteehaus added 2 hits and a run, Abby Draper doubled, Reese Koester scored twice. Rylie Neuhaus, Raylynn Parker and Leah Kleiboeker each scored a run. The Defenders will take on Selmaville today at Christ Our Rock.
The SC Lady Falcons are back in action today as they host North Clay, Sandoval is at home with Bluford, Odin/Patoka is at home with Rome.
