The Marion County Health Department will begin offering pediatric Moderna COVID-19 vaccinations on Monday, July 25th.
The shots will be administered through the department’s immunization clinic held on Mondays at the Salem office by appointment only.
The Moderna COVID-19 pediatric vaccine is a 2-dose series. The second dose is given 28 days after the first dose. The pediatric Moderna COVID-19 vaccine is for any children between the ages of 6 months to 17 years.
If you are unsure if your child should receive the vaccine, please talk with your child’s healthcare provider.
