The Odin Mudcats dropped a pair of Clinton County League baseball games on Sunday falling to Bartelso 13-2 and 4-1.
In the opener, the Barts plated 6 runs in the 2nd inning to cruise to the win. For Odin, Trevor Cummings and Jacob Sutton doubled with Andrew Magnus driving in 2 runs. Anthony Buonaura added a single. Aidan Dodson went 2 innings allowing 3 hits and 2 earned runs in taking the loss.
In the 2nd game, Chase Dodson worked 5 innings allowing 5 hits and just 2 earned runs but Odin fell 4-1. He homered in the loss to account for the only Mudcat run.
After this weekend’s games here is the updated standings with Bartelso topping the league at 8-1 followed by Centralia at 2-1, Aviston 6-3, Germantown 6-4, Trenton 4-3, Odin is 4-4 with Beckemeyer 4-6 along with Breese and St Jacob 0-9.
