The South Central Lady Falcons traveled to Salem and handed Franklin Park an 11-1 loss. Violet Skibinski and Aubree Simons drove in 2 runs each for SC with RBI also from Raelyn Parker, Alexa Gile, Emory Burdine and Ellie Williams. Skylar Webster allowed just one hit and struck out 12. For Salem, McKinleigh Parker had the lone hit. Kaylee Carroll worked 5.1 allowing 9 hits and 7 earned runs in the loss.
Following the game, both teams met at the pitchers circle and prayed together for former Salem standout Olivia Paulson who has been hospitalized recently with complications due to juvenile diabetes.
