Pamela Grace Boettcher, 70, of Blytheville, peacefully passed away Wednesday, June 17, 2026, at Manila Nursing Home in Arkansas.
Pam was born in Centralia, Illinois, on December 19, 1955, the daughter of Floyd and Jessie (Hodges) Elliott. She married the love of her life Ronald Boettcher, Sr. on July 8, 1973. Pam lived most of her life in Centralia. She always had a soft spot for helping people, so much so that she pursued a career and later retired from the Kaskaskia Special Education District as a program assistant. Pam was a charismatic character who couldn’t go anywhere without either encountering an old acquaintance or making a new one. Being a social butterfly, she often enjoyed volunteering her time for many organizations. She was a life member of the VFW Auxiliary and One Moose United. In her leisure time, Pam enjoyed cooking, baking, and making crafts.
Pam is survived by her five children: Heather Tate and her husband, Jason, of Centralia, Illinois; Karon Johannes and her husband, Stephen, of St. Charles, Missouri; and Ronald Boettcher. Jr. and his wife Misty of Keiser, Arkansas; Tiffany Carter and her husband Zac of Charleston, Illinois; and Richard Boettcher and his wife Brittney of Centralia, Illinois; ten grandchildren, Emily and Zachary Johannes of St. Charles, Missouri, Chloe and Cole Tate of Centralia, Illinois, Benjamin Boettcher and Sophie Carter of Charleston, Illinois, Timothy and Samuel Boettcher of Centralia, Illinois; and Kailee Jo and Cameron Boettcher of Keiser, Arkansas; and three sisters, Mary Hake and her husband John of Big Rock, Illinois, Susan Miller of Patoka, Illinois and Sara Turner and fiancé Shane Lambert of Hot Springs, Arkansas.
Upon her passing, Pam was reunited with her dearly missed husband, Ronald Boettcher Sr., her parents, two sisters: Diana Henry and Deborah Johnson, and an infant brother, Charles Bruce Elliott.
Pam’s family would like to invite friends and family to come celebrate her life at a social gathering that will be held on Saturday, July 25, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm in the Centralia Area Historical Museum.
