A Centralia woman was rescued by a boater near the dam on Raccoon Lake after her kayak capsized Sunday afternoon.
The Centralia City Fire Department was called to assist, but the woman was in the boat upon their arrival. She was transported to Point Park to be checked by emergency medical technicians but did not appear to have been injured.
Only the nose of the kayak was out of the water when emergency help arrived.
