Salem graduate Taylor Ice capped off an exceptional freshman campaign with the Olivet Nazarene University women’s golf team by earning two of the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference’s highest individual honors. Ice was named the CCAC Player of the Year following a stellar 2025-26 season.
Ice consistently placed among the conference’s elite golfers, recording eight top-five finishes throughout the year. She captured medalist honors at the Bill Johnson Memorial Tournament, hosted by Olivet Nazarene in the fall, and again at the Hannibal-LaGrange Spring Invitational.
In addition to her tournament victories, Ice finished as runner-up at the Clarke University Fall Classic, the Island Pointe Intercollegiate, and the Conference Clash at Rend Lake, further showcasing her consistency and competitiveness throughout the season.
For the year, Ice posted an impressive scoring average of 81.1 and carded a season-low round of 76. Her outstanding performance played a key role in ONU’s success while establishing her as one of the top golfers in the conference.
The recognition marks a remarkable beginning to Ice’s collegiate career and signals a bright future for the former Salem standout.
