The Salem Lion’s Club is seeking help in raising funds for Post Prom that will take place following Friday night’s Prom at Salem Community High School.
Tabitha Meador helps coordinate Post Prom each year and says donations are running short this year.
“We’re less than half at this point, so we are in need of donations,” Meador said. “It costs roughly about 50 dollars per student to be able to put on the event between the food, the prizes, the entertainment. We bring in party jumps, we have a DJ, and we have other games and prizes that are given out through the evening, so it costs roughly fifty dollars for a student to attend the Post Prom.”
There will be a cash grand prize given at the end of the night designed to keep students in attendance.
Post Prom will be held at Salem Community High School from midnight to three am.
Prizes or checks can be dropped by at the Salem Community High School Office. If you need more information, please contact Kelsey Pogue or Clint Wolfe Salem Community High School. The number is 548-0727.
