A 27-year-old Centralia man has received two four-year prison terms to be served concurrently on separate aggravated battery and felony domestic battery convictions.
Oslo White of Sadler Street had earlier pleaded guilty to the charges ahead of a contested sentencing hearing.
White admitted to an August 5th, 2025 incident where he was accused of striking a woman in the face with his hands while on Lincoln Boulevard in Centralia. He also admitted to a December 30th, 2024 felony domestic battery case where he was charged with striking a household or family member in the head and body with his hand. The charge was a felony due to a past domestic battery conviction in Clinton County and unlawful restraint conviction in Marion County. He qualified for an extended sentence in both cases.
Once White gets out of prison, he’ll have to serve six months mandatory supervised release and was given credit for 76 days already served in the Marion County Jail awaiting resolution of his cases.
